It's two twenty two and ev-ery-thing seems so very new Went from in love, to people that we never knew Went from skyline shining a hella blue To a dark grey cloud in ...whatever hue... Dec-i-de, you can try, you can colour too Know my pallet is a different kinda pallete boo I can stand on my own, no cinderalla shoe I'm on the same brain wave out in Malibu Remember cape town, the breakdown, were hella cool Then the shake down, the hey now, you hella fool Now we dealing with that salmonella residue You can mozzarella throw some cheddar like nigella do We were toxic, far from being edible You became the kinda fella, tell a woman what to do You wanted Mary, a Penny or a Peggy sue But i'm a jaguar, a peacock in a Delhi zoo #CHORUS Yeeah-yee-yeeah Yee-yeeeee Yee-ee-ee-eeh Yee-yee-yeeeeah #VERSE It's that time and that season where everything just feels right We on the wrong side of the right road but we feel like free Flowing like a river, we be steady in a stream Met you on the corner of what's real and a dream That was then, this is now and it aint all what it seems We more like a city with the hustle in between ... huh...you know disgusting as it seems...that's life... it's the aging, the changing of the greens It's the growing, the naming, the changing of your seeds It's the down in your feeling when the up is all you need It's the walking away when you strong enough to grieve It's the breaking, the building, the praying and belief Thinking you were everything, i'm everything i need That's the message, a lesson, a lesson in self esteem You reflected my lack of a backbone it seems And i reflected the cracks in the walls of your dream #Chorus Heey-yee-yeeah Heeee-yeee Hee-ee-ee-eeh Hee-yee-yeeeeah Eey-yeeah Heeee-yeee Hee-ee-ee-eeh Hee-yee-yeeeeah Eey-yeeah Heeee-yeee Hee-ee-ee-eeh Hee-yee-yeeeeah Yee-yeeah Heeee-yeee Hee-ee-ee-eeh Hee-yee-yeeeeah #OUTRO If you must know of tommorow and know of it today know of the sorrows that might cause you a delay know of the blessings that are coming your way Do you think that you the blessed might fall to your knees and then pray Or will you look for the trappings a hunter might set for his prey Or do you think that knowing the new day, you might not live, live for today There's a treasure trove of future promises But also ...hidden pit falls in hidden provinces of your heart Are they better left wrapped and drowning in coral or clay Buried in sand pits with all of your childhood broken buckets and spades Or shall we go out and play Come my love let's seize, seize the day

about

REEL BEETZ Bern, Switzerland
